The Power of Wearing Many Hats
Meet Sanjay, Chef de la Maison’s Operations Manager.
Sanjay oversees our bustling network of pop-up cafés across Peterborough, manages The Grange—our private hire venue in Netherton—and runs our headquarters production kitchen. He supports and directs his management team, but on any given day, you’ll find him switching hats to meet the need of the moment.
It’s a true superpower—and one that’s become essential to Chef de la Maison’s growth in catering and hospitality. Whether it’s a temporary café outlet or a major catered event, Sanjay ensures every location has leadership, structure, and a strong support network.
As a growing business, our senior management team is often called upon to juggle responsibilities and adapt on the fly. We’ve learned that no amount of planning can fully prepare you for the fast-paced reality of managing multiple venues and pop-ups. It takes agility, commitment, and the ability to react in real-time.
So here’s to Sanjay—and to his incredible management team. Your ability to wear many hats doesn’t just keep us running—it’s what sets us apart.
Look out for Sanjay’s latest project at Allia Future Business Centre next door toPeterborough United Football Stadium. Sanjay is in charge of the cafe and commercial kitchen operation which caterers for 100’s of business clients every day. Ranging from hospitality suites, breakfast, lunches and dinners. It’s one ofPeterborough’s premier business cafes and buisness centres, demanding the highest of standards and wellness, wellbeing products on the market. The cafe is focused on handmade breads, fresh presse juices, barista bar and zero refined sugar to naturally boost our clients to feel good! A gut healthy, wholesome concept which Sanjay launched last Thursday!
Another hat to wear proudly!
Here’s to the hospitality champions!
