Silent hero’s, without them where would we be? At Chef de la Maison we need to shine the light on our team. Very often we hear the feedback, we receive acknowledgment for our work. The wellbeing we crave, the dopamine we desire…
But for many who have prepped the event, helped in every step behind the scenes, their wellbeing matters too! We have addressed this with improved video footage of the event, we share footage and feedback with all of the team. This way we stay inclusive and as one team connected.
At a recent event, we served 200 people a high end corporate lunch. The prep work involved, the details in planning was 80% of the work. It was exhausting at the front end of the event, so the prep team must of felt the effects and some more….
This is a great example of the challenges faced in hospitality. Without great planning and prep work, events do not happen. The ripple affects on people’s wellbeing through great hospitality and events execution is so important. Not only for the success of Chef de la Maison but for the wellbeing of all connected to the event.
Nowadays, we focus so much on the links of kitchen work, hospitality and the customer. All linked as one chain to well being. Hospitality matters, without prejudice, we all need that connection and benefit so much from it!
In future posts we are digging deeper into this topic as it has positive impact on people’s mental health, more than we ever gave credit for in the past!
